Two-year Global Leadership Program for High School Youth OneWorld Now! is a two-year global leadership program for high school sophomores and juniors that offers the following four areas of opportunities: • Leadership Skills, Activities, Projects, Guest Speakers • World Languages Mandarin Chinese and Arabic • Summer Activities Language Camps and Study Abroad Furthermore, OneWorld Now! is committed to providing these opportunities to economically disadvantaged youth, who have historically had the least exposure and opportunities to gain language, leadership skills and study abroad participation. Scholarships are provided for eligible students. The
after-school program is currently offered in the Seattle, WA area at
Ingraham, Cleveland, Garfield, Franklin, Roosevelt and Rainier Beach high schools. The program
is open to all Seattle area students and many students travel from
other schools where the program is not offered. OneWorld Now! plans to continue its expansion to other schools near you in the future. |
